About this event

It’s National Fitness Day and a great opportunity to try something new to help you stay fit for life. This 40-minute fun FABS session by award-winning fitness expert Julie Robinson includes Flexibility, Aerobics, Balance and Strength exercises. It’s a low to moderate intensity session with options to adapt the exercises to suit your own level of fitness. This is a top-to-toe workout with great music and plenty of fun and motivation to get you moving.

Move it or Lose it exercise classes are scientifically proven to help you improve your strength, balance and fitness to help you feel 10 years younger.

Meet the host

Julie Robinson is an award-winning specialist fitness instructor for the over 50s who has helped millions of people to build activity into their everyday lives to help them live longer, better.

Before the event...

  • Please make sure you have a safe space and a sturdy chair before participating.
  • Please wear sensible footwear such as trainers and have some water handy.
  • If possible please have 2 tins of food or light hand weights ready – but be reassured you can participate without.
  • As with all exercise programmes, you are advised to consult with a medical practitioner/GP before commencing any new fitness programmes and to stop immediately and seek medical advice if you experience any discomfort or pain.
  • Please be aware that by participating, you do so at your own risk.

FABS exercise class
