  • £23,264 per annum (pro rata)
  • Part time - up to 21 hours per week
  • Drivers with their own car and business insurance are highly desirable

We are looking for Support Workers to work with us in the Shrewsbury area to provide 1 to 1 support to a male who is in his 40s living in his own home. He has an Acquired Brain Injury and deals with his mental health so experience with either/or would be preferable, all training provided if you have no experience.

He loves the 70s and 80s and has a wonderful sense of humour. He has a lot of interests, one of them is 70s and 80s television which includes Carry On films, Only Fools and Horses and Bread. He also likes to play Bingo and watches other game shows like Bullseye. The ability to hold a conversation about these is really important to him and so he would like someone to support him who has the same or similar interests.

Taking him out to a garden centre and in his wider community is something he thoroughly enjoys

Support hours are 8am to 3pm, 3pm to 10pm plus a sleep in from10pm to 8am. The early and late shift would cover the sleep in so successful candidates have to be able to cover this requirement to be considered for this role.
