Are you looking to develop your knowledge working in finance and procurement? We have an opportunity for a Contracts Monitoring Officer to join us. You’ll oversee supplier contract compliance across the British Heart Foundation (BHF), ensuring all relevant compliance documents are in place covering contracts, due diligence and sustainability requirements. You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in creating progress reports to reduce areas of risk and drive compliance. Working closely with the team you’ll advise managers on compliance status, compliance requirements, risk assessment and identifying further opportunities to minimise supply chain risk. Whilst this role will be based in London, the BHF will be following a blended approach between home and office working. This will allow us to unlock our best work for our cause, blending the best of home and office working. About you Studying towards CIPS qualification or equivalent level experience, you’ll be IT literate with basic Microsoft packages. You’ll have experience of contract compliance, as well as some experience of working with external third-party suppliers, and will have good numeracy and literacy skills. With strong interpersonal skills you’ll be able to develop strong working relationships with key contacts quickly and will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, able to negotiate the best deals for the BHF. You’ll also be able to analyse complex data, reaching recommendations and articulating them with clarity. About us When people affected by heart and circulatory diseases are in need, they turn to us.
