About The Role

Appointment Generator Location: Bradbury House, 4 Ohio Ave, Salford M50 2GT 12 months Fixed Term Contract Hours: 35 per week (Hybrid; 2 mandatory days per week in the office, Monday and Tuesday) Salary range: £24,968 - £27,199 per annum At the British Red Cross, we're looking for a target driven salesperson. Can you sell first aid courses and products while nurturing relationships to encourage additional sales? Your work will be crucial in developing the uptake of first aid training courses across the UK. You'll help us maintain a healthy customer base. Your endeavour will ensure the public are educated on how to treat someone in an emergency. A day in the life of our Appointment GeneratorYou'll play a key role in driving our business forward. Positively engaging with customers, you'll optimise outbound call and email opportunities to promote and upsell our service offer. You'll thoroughly understand our products and services. Thus, you'll personalise your communication style to promote and schedule customer appointments with new business managers. You'll build excellent customer relationships and look to enhance customer satisfaction. You'll engage potential customers in meaningful conversations to understand their needs. You'll tailor solutions and solve problems. Communicating with your customers via a range of channels, particularly by telephone and email. With a target-driven mentality you'll convert leads into customer-facing appointments. Achieving call and appointment-based KPIs will be a challenge you enjoy. You'll work within the sales department, which is home to our sales, retention, key accounts and service teams. You'll also work closely with a range of other support services for Red Cross Training. This includes our resource planning, venues, training, marketing and field-based teams. Your dedication will ensure Red Cross Training remains a market leader in the provision of first aid training. To be a successful Appointment Generator:
  • You've customer service experience and relish the opportunity to work towards achieving targets.
  • You've previously worked in a sales / business development role.
  • You're IT literate with a range of packages / programs. You can keep data and CRM systems updated with precision.
  • You've a positive personality and a 'can do' attitude where you're always looking to find solutions.
  • As a self-starter you have a drive to succeed and a "team first" mentality.
  • You're excited by the chance to work alongside a passionate and diverse team, ensuring inclusive practice and promoting diversity.
  • You've strong communication and interpersonal skills. You enjoy talking to different people daily.
