Shape our future as Social Media Analyst

An exciting opportunity to join our close-knit social media products team as a Social Media Analyst. The Monatair Bureau Service offers our clients a way to Collect, Enrich and Analyse Social Media Data from a variety of channels. Your role will be to bridge the gap between the data that is collected, dig through the noise, uncover the insight and provide the final Advise step.

This is a mixed home & office based role, ideally you will be able to attend our city centre Edinburgh office once a week We're supporting our clients as they adapt to a new world in the wake of COVID-19. We're now recruiting for roles which will help our clients to deliver vital services and to resume business wherever possible.

This is predominantly an account management style role providing support and guidance to our Monatair Bureau Service customers. You will be focusing on extracting insights from our Social Media Analytics product. You will be creating reports and presenting insights to clients. This will involve giving your recommendations on how they can meet their objectives and solve customer problems. You will observe and learn from our Clients' competitors and advise on their Social Media Strategy based on your experience in this field.

What you'll be doing:

The role consists of the following but not limited to:

  • Consult with clients
  • Identify opportunities for new data sources and integrations
  • Working with clients to drive their agenda and understand customer direction
  • Building key relationships with Clients face-to-face (currently online) to ensure knowing their requirements
  • Analyse Social media and create reports
  • Be able to keep detailed notes of all meeting with Clients and actioning them

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in using Social Media Analytics and Management like Brandwatch, Sprout Social and Hootsuite is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in Presenting
  • Have knowledge in data Visualisation
  • Be able to create reports
  • Able to translate client requirements by listening, unpacking problems and providing solution

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Power BI experience would be preferred but not essential
  • Good knowledge of IT packages i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word
