Analyst Retail Market Intelligence and Stability

Ofgem is Great Britains energy regulator. Our primary responsibility is to protect energy consumers, especially the most vulnerable, while at the same time working with government, industry and consumer groups to deliver a clean, more affordable and secure net-zero energy system at the lowest cost to consumers and drive economic growth. Successful candidates will initially be deployed in the Retail Market Intelligence & Stability team, working and collaborating closely with other teams to monitor the retail energy market to establish a sound evidence base for decision-making and policy-making. This team is part of the Financial Resilience and Controls (FRC) Directorate. You will contribute to regular monitoring and reporting on competition and/or customer protection indicators and on the assessment of the impacts of retail energy policies and regulation.
