As a CET headteacher you will be leading and managing one of our fantastic schools, providing an excellent well rounded education for our pupils and developing the school’s relationship with the wider community.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate, creative, motivated and enthusiastic leader, with a history of excellent classroom practice across the primary range, who is able to inspire the entire school community towards excellent outcomes. The Headteacher post represents an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their leadership skills within a very strong and supportive professional network. You will have the opportunity to work within a supportive and forward thinking team across the Trust with a wide range of interests and expertise.
You will lead a collaborative learning culture to ensure that every pupil reaches their full potential (being THE BEST THEY CAN BE) in all areas of their development. Working closely with the community, you’ll promote your school to ensure it remains highly visible and attractive to parents, maintaining and developing local stakeholder networks to maximise influence and support.
You will be comfortable in developing and building networks, partnerships and collaborations with the whole school community. You will also have the skills and ability to effectively manage your time, and to ensure that staff are supported, developed and integrate effectively.
You’ll receive positive support from the school’s Local Advisory Board, and Cumbrian Education Trust, all of whom are committed to providing a package of support to ensure your long term success and the continued development of the school.
Located in Cumbria, we are surrounded by the outstanding natural beauty of the Lake District whilst still having all of the advantages of city life. In addition we have excellent transport links to Scotland, Manchester and Newcastle.
