We are looking for a member of a CCAB recognised body but would consider applications from finalists committed to achieving Charted Status, supported by strong Local Government experience. You will be responsible for leading, mentoring and developing 3 Business Partners, assisting in the preparation of the Statement of Accounts, corporate budgets and maintaining financial controls. Managing the Financial Management team, you will provide financial support in a wide range of technical accounting, VAT, projects, treasury, and provide strategic financial support and guidance to the senior officers across all service areas.
This post reports directly to the Finance Services Manager assisting in the provision of excellent and effective accounting services.
The role would be suitable for candidates looking to take the next step in their financial career, having previous experience in a technical accounting position.
