Job Description

We have a vacancy for a full time Social Worker in the Youth Justice Team that covers South Derbyshire; our base being in Ilkeston. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a multi disciplinary team to meet the needs of young people involved with the Youth Justice System. We work in a trauma informed way and consequently have a range of health staff in the team including Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Substance Misuse Workers. Previous experience of the Youth Justice system is not required but we are seeking someone who can provide high quality: risk assessments, plans and reports. An enthusiasm and ability to work in a trauma informed way is essential.
