Hampshire County Council has around 1500 sites with approximately 9000 buildings including: Schools, Older Persons Homes, Childrens Residential Care Homes, Register Offices, Libraries, Offices, Historic Buildings, from which they provide services to the residents of Hampshire. In addition, we provide the same service to the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, and The Hampshire Constabulary. (There is very little housing).
The person appointed to this role will become part of a team who maintain and manage these buildings. This specific role is to manage a broad range of minor works typically:
- repair tasks which require a brief schedule of works
- minor alterations and improvements - which will require a brief schedule of works and sometimes a CAD Drawing
You will deliver work through contractors selected from a Minor Works Framework. Depending on the task this may mean working with one contractor or obtaining quotations.
