Support Hampshire social workers to change the lives of children

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker Personal Assistant to provide administrative support for social workers within Childrens Services. Your will assist social workers to manage their caseloads, with the aim to reduce office based social worker administration time.

As a Social Worker Personal Assistant, you will assist up to four social workers on a daily basis. Your role will be to proactively assist the social workers to manage their caseloads, whilst the social workers retain overall responsibility. You will work with and under the direction of the Social Worker and in line with agreed departmental standards and procedures with the aim to reduce office based social worker admin time.

You will be confident and pro-active, not afraid to use your initiative, with excellent organisation and communication skills. In addition the role also requires good analytical skills, self motivation and good multi tasking skills.

Duties will include organising and co-ordinating diaries, communicating with clients and professionals (verbally and in writing), proactively arranging meetings, dealing with payments and transport, recording information on client records, updating chronologies, track and monitor caseload information and extracting information from various sources.
