Job Title: Early Intervention Vehicle Practitioner Location: Letchworth Salary Range: £27,741 pa progressing to £39,880 pa Hours: 37 per week Contract: Permanent

Early Intervention Vehicle Service7 Day Service, working 12 hour shifts between 8am - 8pm or 7-7 shift

Following the successful support of the innovative Early Intervention Vehicle Service, as featured on BBC East News and the BBC Sunday Politics Show, HCC are looking for dynamic, forward thinking Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers and Nurses to continue to provide an innovative service for individuals in North and East Hertfordshire.

The Early Intervention Vehicle Service provides a 111 response to patients. The Early Intervention Vehicle Practitioners work in collaboration with Senior Paramedics / Emergency Care Practitioners to provide holistic assessments in emergency situations. The Early Intervention Vehicle Service takes positive risks and works creatively and flexibly to enable individuals to remain in their own home following an acute episode. Professionals have immediate access to assistive equipment and are expected to work closely with local health and social care services to promote longer term recovery.

This role is well suited to assertive professionals, looking for a unique challenge, with sound crisis assessment skills and a passion for working with clients to optimise their wellbeing in their own home.
