| Salary 9.62 per hour | Casual hours per week |

Location: Preston Short Breaks Service, 50 Larches Ave, Preston, PR2 1LN.

Chorley and South Ribble short breaks, 121 Worden Lane, Leyland, PR25 3BD.

Do you want to make a difference to the lives of people who have a disability? We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, flexible people who would enjoy supporting adults with disabilities to live the lives they want.

The Service supports people with learning and physical disabilities in the Short Breaks Service (respite) over 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The role involves evening and weekend work including sleep-in duties as required.

The support worker role involves all aspects of daily support, including supporting adults to access activities and experiences in their local community, personal care, support with managing finance, administering medication and ensuring people's needs are met in terms of health and positive outcomes.

The successful applicant will value others and have a person-centred approach supporting people with dignity and respect.
