About the Role
To lead and manage a team of analytical and research staff working on a range of service areas including wider health determinants research collaboration (HDRC), economy, communities, transport, environment, corporate insight/surveys and corporate services performance.
About You
To apply for this post you must have the skills, knowledge and experience to:
- Implement the BI Strategy and the HDRC Project Plan;
- Lead culture change in the use of data and research throughout the Council
- Provide strategic and operational research and insight
- Promote innovation and the efficiency of BI, including through automation and self-service dashboards
- Support with the development of the Council's corporate performance management framework
- Provide high quality business intelligence and research findings to departments to help improve service delivery and decision making
- Lead a team of managers and analysts working in these service areas
- Provide expert support to corporate activities where required e.g. consultation exercises, transformation projects, research/evaluation, ad hoc strategic workstreams, data integration work, performance frameworks and inspections
