Salary: £25,995 - £34,359 per annum (pro rata for part-time) (Pay award pending)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

  • Administer the provisions of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS)
  • Facilitate the calculation and payment of benefits to contributors and their beneficiaries
  • Manage a complex caseload ensuring statutory deadlines
  • Contribute to office and systems improvements

About You

To apply for this post, you must have:

  • NVQ2 or equivalent such as 4 GCSEs (grades A to C / 4 to 9) including Maths and English or equivalent level of relevant experience
  • Experience of work involving the LGPS
  • Experience of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
  • The ability to carry out calculations quickly and with a very high degree of accuracy
  • A sound knowledge of general office procedures and their importance to the overall team
  • The ability to compose correspondence which is clear, concise and grammatically correct
  • The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
