We are currently seeking a confident, motivated, German Speaking and technically minded individual to join our Fixed Assets Department.

You will be joining our Head Office team, based in Wimbledon (moving to Tolworth), you’ll join an atmosphere where people thrive from the fast pace of the retail sector. With your conscientious nature, exceptional organisational skills, and impeccable attention to detail you will play a key role in driving the performance of your department. If you are deadline oriented, enjoy a fast-moving environment and working with systems, this may be an ideal role for you.

What you'll do

  • Understanding Processing of asset invoices and projects according to German GAAP and FRS102
  • Reporting and analysing KPI’s in order to improve processes
  • Understanding of month end and year end processes
  • Implementation of new processes and departmental projects
  • Identifying improvement potential and developing appropriate measures jointly with other business departments
  • Liaising and building relationships with various stakeholders across the business
  • Ensuring process compliance and future proof developments
  • Key User SAP FI for Asset Accounting

What you'll need

  • Previous accounting experience is essential
  • Knowledge of the German language required
  • Good working knowledge SAP FI
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills macros beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in partnering with stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with exemplary organisational skills, able to multi -task and manage their own work
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to travel where required within the UK and abroad
