Job Description Summary

In the SME and Mid Corporates Telephony Sales team we provide a first-class Telephony service enabling our customers to meet their financial needs. A joint venture between Lloyds Banking Group and Fiserv is bringing solutions to businesses and enabling companies to accept card payments from their customers for the goods and services they provide.We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to become a Client Development Telesales Associate within our Basildon and Leeds offices, providing tailored Customer- solutions and helping businesses grow.Joining Cardnet’s Commercial Development Team, you will be responsible for new business acquisitions through promoting the growing range of technology led solutions provided by Cardnet directly to business customers with card turnover of up to £300,000 per annum.

Cardnet is a joint venture between Lloyds Banking Group and Fiserv and aims to bring solutions to businesses; enabling companies to accept card payments from their customers for the goods and services they provide. This is a strategically important area for the Group where growth is expected to be in double digits; you could be part of this exciting journey!The Role:We're looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to become Client Development Telesales Associates within our Basildon and Leeds offices; providing tailored Customer solutions and helping their businesses grow.

Joining Cardnet’s Commercial Development Team, you'll drive and generate new business acquisitions by promoting the growing range of technology led solutions provided by Cardnet directly to business customers with card turnover of up to £300,000 per annum.

In this proactive role you'll contact customers and take care of client driven leads which are provided by our Commercial Relationship Managers and Directors, as well as a wide range of other non-bank lead introducers.

What you'll be doing:• Proactive and reactive telephony and written contact with customers• Explaining and presenting factual product information and card payment solutions to customers in a concise and clear way• Understanding and identifying customer needs and matching our range of products and services to suit the customer’s requirements• Working with the customer to identify the best product and pricing option, utilising our broad set of product solutions that generate the optimum return for the business• Track the overall progress of sales, and pursue your own pipeline of opportunities, from the leads provided, through to a successful sale• Ensure successful implementation of the solution and provide feedback to introducers• Make the accurate decisions that positively impact on the medium and long-term revenue/profit to the business

What we'll need from you:Essential:

• You'll have a proven track record within a proactive telephony sales environment.• A genuine passion for helping our clients grow their Business.• Attention to detail and ability to follow a structured sales and compliance process.• Background in Financial Services.

Desirable:
