Looking for a Finance Manager IPV role, look no further!

At Lloyds Banking Group, the Prudential Valuations and Methodology team is comprised of specialists on fair value exposures. A key focus is on emerging valuation challenges across multiple asset classes. Core products include Interest rates, XVA’s (CVA, FVA), Fixed Income, Structured Credit and Equities.

The team is part of Finance Valuation Control, alongside the Investment Valuations team, which supports Insurance. We utilise our significant product and market knowledge to support the business and ensure regulation and standard methodology are followed.

We own the group's PVA adjustment, working closely with key partners across the Bank to improve and optimise the model in a robust and auditable manner.

What you'll be doing...!

  • Own production and oversight of IPV activities for key porfolios- clearly demonstrate a strong Control environment and being empowered to improve and simplify approaches and processes
  • Leads the production of key element of the PruVal adjustment, becoming a key contact for numerous desks and managing directors.
  • Write and present commentary on results, trends and observations to Trading, Market Risk Management and Finance therefore demonstrating a deep and commercial view of the drivers of fair value.
  • Engaging with the new product approval / Libor decommissioning project, reviewing products and business cases for valuation impacts, to highlight areas of focus for related teams (IPV, reserves, etc.).
  • Become a recognized specialist in valuations and support the Senior Manager and Head of Valuation, including production of information for PRA continuous assessment meetings and Group Valuation Committee deep dives.
  • Support Group Finance and Central Risk functions in 4YOP planning process and Stress Testing.
  • Build relationships with senior partners and committee members.
