Motor Finance & Leasing (MF&L) combines Lloyds Banking Groups Point Of Sale vehicle financing (Blackhorse) and Corporate Vehicle Leasing (Lex Autolease) businesses, providing lending to customers for the purchase of new and used vehicles through over 2,000 intermediaries and direct corporate sales. The businesses are leaders in their markets and are pursuing exciting growth strategies with significant investment to support transformation.
Job Purpose
The Business Intelligence team is striving to be the centre of excellence for bespoke customer, sales and Ops MI work, by strengthening our controls to improve MI accuracy, improving our current report offerings through automation and use of the groups different analytics tools.
We have an exciting secondment/contract opportunity to lead a team within the Motor Business Intelligence team within MF&L. Your role is key to providing the necessary reports and analysis to drive the business forward and understand trends and operational activity.

role is instrumental in driving forward how the team needs to be set up and will operate going forward. This is an ideal opportunity to shape the team, look at process improvements and make a real difference!
This is a secondment/contract until the end of the year. The role is flexible in location terms, and as a team we follow a hybrid working model, combining working from home with travel to our offices.
Core Accountabilities
Partner with senior manager and leadership team to drive our data and MI agenda forward
Implement data quality framework, reporting and controls within the team and wider MFL business where needed
Drive forward improvements to our suite of reports on business, financial and operational performance
Gather requirements to ensure the outputs delivered are to the standard required by the partnering area
Work with leadership team to triage and prioritise new requests across the team
Develop and maintain knowledge of Motor products and services, and the market within which it operates
Lead a team to provide data, reporting, analysis and insight to the MFL business, operations and wider bank teams
About you
Essential Experience / Skills Required:
Proven data analytical experience
Advanced range of analytical tools including SQL/Oracle, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, Business Objects, Powerpoint
Self-motivated and able to effectively prioritise own workload and those of the team
Able to work collaboratively to ensure the whole teams objectives are met
Good commercial understanding
Great stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
Desirable
Experience of leading a team of data analysts within Financial Services (or similar highly analytical role)
A numerate/analytical degree, or equivalent
Prior knowledge of Motor is preferred but not required
