LOCATION(S): Birmingham
HOURS: Full Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, in the office.
About this opportunity:
An exciting new leadership opportunity has become available for a Mid Corporates, Regional Director to join our Trading Sectors Business within our Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) Division.
This is a brand-new position and will lead a Mid Corporates relationship management team across the Midlands & East England. The team will support businesses with an annual turnover of £25m-£100m and will focus on growing the Mid Corporates franchise through deepening existing client relationships and originating new business whilst operating to the highest standards of client satisfaction and risk management.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Actively develop and implement a local strategic vision & plan for Mid Corporates by having a good understanding of broader market trends and identifying tactical opportunities to build relationships with new to bank Mid Corporates clients and prospects.
- Be active, present and lead the wider team in the regional Mid Corporates market place, promoting LBG credentials and proposition to key advisors and professionals and demonstrating relevant segment knowledge and leadership in support of the growth strategy.
- Build a team culture that embodies the Groups values that is bold, inclusive, collaborative and innovative yet is positively challenging and fully supports individual and team development & learning whilst also delivering for clients.
- Help us to be the 'Best Bank for Customers' and follow Conduct objectives by establishing, implementing and maintaining a customer-centric culture throughout the relationship lifecycle, including an effective complaint handling framework.
- Deliver the P&L and the balance sheet objectives sustainably for the Region by preparing, leading and supervising financial plans and budgets, consistent with Group strategy and with appropriate customer insight.
- Engage and deliver on regional projects aligned to the Groups and divisional Strategic priorities.
- Collaborate across Mid Corporates, our Specialist Client Solutions team, Credit, Risk and Delivery partners to strengthen the value and perception of customers of Lloyds Banking Group. Work together with partners to improve the proposition and service delivery, and manage relevant risks or credit appetite. Where appropriate influencing legislative, regulatory, financial and other developments to the advantage of clients and the Division/Group.
- Oversee the portfolio of customer relationships in order to lead and coach the team to identify and satisfy customer and prospect needs in the most appropriate way meeting the Banks credit, profitability and service objectives.
- Provide oversight to developing, structuring and reviewing client and prospect proposals to meet customer requirements and find opportunities to further develop income; guiding, recommending and supporting implementation of the appropriate solutions.
- Provide appropriate credit, capital and pricing oversight and lead RM Team in the negotiation of terms and conditions of credit facilities and services.
