Berkshire CAMHS is a multi-disciplinary community-based service that serves a child population of approximately 300,000 across the County. The teams comprise of child psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, family therapists, nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, art/play therapists, social workers and Primary Mental Health Workers.
Berkshire Healthcare has been awarded an overall ‘Good’ rating from the CQC, with both its Community and In-patient CAMHS services achieving this rating. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to deal with sensitive and challenging situations. You will need to be experienced in taking minutes at meetings, diary management and confident in using the full Microsoft Office suite including outlook, Word and Excel.
You will also be required to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others as a key member of the team. Therefore the ability to build effective relationships, with a flexible approach to work is essential. You will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post. This will include day-to-day organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the administration team.
