We need a highly motivated Apprentice Administrator to join the Nursing and Quality team based at the CCG Torquay to provide administration support to the Nursing & Quality directorate and wider CCG footprint.
The role involves working with the Learning Disability and Autism Programme (LDAP) assisting with the setup of Care Treatment Reviews (CTRs – adults) and community Care Education Treatment Reviews (CETRs for children and young people). The applicant will be confident in handling and processing complex and sensitive information about individuals.
The team works with its providers to confirm commissioning responsibilities for patients following detention under the Mental Health Act receiving details of care provision and financial commitments.
Further duties will include:
Monitoring and responding to queries from generic email boxes, involving uploading and adding information to the CCG’s database.
Liaising with internal and external colleagues to gather information in response to data requirements via different communication methods.
A flexible approach to a varied workload and an understanding of prioritisation are key in this fast-paced environment.
The essential qualifications and experience of this role are:
Good general education to GCSE grade A-C or equivalent; must include English Language and capable of achieving Level 2 literacy
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, email and internet
Completing tasks/projects as part of a team
Good communication skills
Ability to deal with telephone enquiries politely and efficiently
Able to prioritise workload using own initiative
Good organisational skills
Commitment to undertake and complete learning activities which are part of the role and the apprenticeship qualifications
Flexible approach, willing to undertake a range of duties as required.
