mWe are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated people for the role of an Occupational TherapyAssistant Therapy Practitioner (ATP) (band 4) in our Community Teams.

The Community Roles are based at The Marlowes in Hemel Hempsted and Colne house in Watford. We provide Occupational Therapy for people with mental health issues. Occupational Therapy (OT) is an integral part of this care, providing occupation-based assessments and care plans to meet the needs of service users, through things such as confidence building, anxiety management, community integration and memory interventions. OT staff provides individual sessions and groups for Service users.

You would be working as part of a well-established Occupational Therapy team.

You will need to have appropriate skills and experience; including team working, experience working in a community setting or some clinical experience with people with a mental health problem and dementia. You will also have a passion for helping people to engage in meaningful occupations.

All our staff receive regular support and supervision. Opportunities for CPD and learning are encouraged and we have recently started an apprenticeships programme

The core hours for the team are Monday to Friday 9-5, we have an opportunity for a fixed term contract and we may be able to offer an alternative pattern, or flexible working.
