PHDU is a dedicated cardiorespiratory department with capacity of 10 beds that provides level 2 high dependency care for patients and their families with expert support and the highest standards of a seamless step-up/step-down critical care journey.

The internationally renowned and award-winning, Simulated interProfessional Team Traning (SPRinT) program uses in-situ simulation to provide the multidisciplinary team involved in patient care with insight into human factors that influence personal performance in strategic crisis resource management.

We are particularly looking at recruiting RN Child qualified nurse’s however, nurses with previous cardiac, respiratory, ITU or HDU experience would be considered. New staff to the unit will be fully supported through our excellent induction and mentorship programme.
