Barts Bioresource (BBR) Research Nurse

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated research Nurse to join our busy Barts Bioresource research team. You will support this award-winning team to effectively and creatively engage our internal and external audiences.
As a research team, we are responsible for promoting and protecting the reputation of the Trust. We do this through providing support for our research stratagy to our executive and hospital management teams, proactive and responsive media and stakeholder relations, engaging social and digital channels, creatively promoting our brand and inspiring internal communications.
The successful candidate will provide high-level, professional and comprehensive support to the Barts Bioresource (BBR) Research Team within the Queen Mary University and Bart’s Heart Centre. Act as a first point of contact for the BBR responding professionally and courteously to queries in person, by email and by phone, answering straightforward BBR related queries escalating more complex queries where necessary, using our WeCare values. In addition, provide an excellent standard of customer care and convey a helpful, positive image to all those they deal with or work within the QMUL and Bart’s Health.
You will also be responsible for providing support to the BBR Researchers (including Research events days); providing support in areas including small group learning; BBR Redcap access registration; project follow ups; and project evaluation. The role will also involve some support of BBR committees, and occasional out of hours work.
In return, we will develop your research skills, knowledge and experience with formal and on-the-job training.
