We are looking for a high caliber experienced Business Support Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of safe and effective clinical services within the Women and Children’s Division.

The division forms part of the Family and Women’s Health Group based at Hull University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. The post holder will be part of the wider management team working to deliver performance standards, statutory requirements, deadlines and objectives.

This post specifically supports the Children and Young Peoples services within the Division which include; Neonatology, Community Paediatric Services, Paediatric Medicine and Paediatric Surgery.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a forward thinking experienced health care professional who will be given the support and opportunity in this post to develop their talents, expand their knowledge and really make a difference to the way patient care is delivered. Reporting directly to the Business Manager the post holder will have a high level of autonomy and will work in a self-directed way within the parameters set for the post.

Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential in this role as well as experience of providing senior management support to facilitate the successful delivery of clinical services.

We will be looking for proven experience as a senior manager within an organisation with evidence of consistently achieving results and targets.

The successful applicant must have high level people management skills, including decision making, negotiating, influencing and persuading skills. There will be an opportunity for the successful candidate to contribute to the strategic development of services as part of this role.

  • Gynaecological Oncology
