Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Band 5 registered mental health nurse's to join our Specialist CAMHS service within the Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health care group.

Whether you are newly qualified or would like the opportunity to have a change in your work direction - this role will offer a unique opportunity to train and develop in an area that provides assessment and therapeutic intervention to children and young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and emotional well being.

The post holders will work closely with the wider Multidisciplinary team across the care group to provide support to children, young people and their family/carers. They will manage their own case load with the oversight of their line manager

They will have training opportunities to learn new skills. They will have an in-depth understanding of all the different teams/services across the care group and spend time in each of the teams building on their knowledge and understanding of mental health needs in Children and young people.

Mental Health Services for children and young people is an area that continues to develop and grow and the service within Cardiff and Vale is passionate about providing the best care to CYP and their family/carer at what can be a most distressing time. We are looking for hard working, passionate clinicians to join our team and learn from our skilled, multidisciplinary workforce.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
