Overview

The Rehabilitation and Recovery service is an exciting service that uses a stepped approach to our inpatient care and has the additional resource of a transitional in-reach and outreach team based at The Recovery Centre.

The service design focusses heavily on multidisciplinary and multi-agency team working with the service being made up of staff members from LYPFT, Community Links, Leeds Mind and Touchstone – all working in partnership under a managed network, within LYPFT. The service aims:

The service is established on strong principles of recovery and partnership working and all candidates must have strong values around recovery, social inclusion and diversity.

We are looking for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse, who is motivated and passionate about working in a rehabilitation and recovery model of care and will assist in the leadership and management of our Rehabilitation and Recovery Team.

You must have a positive attitude towards innovation and change and a flexible approach. You need excellent interpersonal and team working skills, and a commitment to working collaboratively with others. You will value continuing professional development and actively engage in clinical supervision.

You will need excellent leadership skills and be able to oversee the coordination of a caseload of service users and offer support and guidance to the team, provide reports and assessments and engage in the delivery of an integrated care pathway to support, promote and further develop the skills and the ability of service users.

Assisting in the leadership of the service, you will be expected to contribute toward the management and supervision of the team, in addition to holding leadership roles across the rehabilitation and recovery service.

You will be required to work a shift pattern (not including nights) across seven days.
