The main priorities of this role will be to deliver an effective and competent level of clerical support, co-ordinating the team and meetings as appropriate. The role includes time management, diary management, participating in department events, project support and management of Continuing Healthcare (CHC) issues using their initiative.
Further duties will include:
Monitoring and responding to queries from generic email boxes, involving uploading and adding information to the CCG’s database.
Liaising with internal and external colleagues to gather information in response to data requirements via different communication methods.
A flexible approach to a varied workload and an understanding of prioritisation are key in this fast-paced environment.
The essential qualifications and experience of this role are:
Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience
Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Experience of speaking with members of the public and / or a range of stakeholders
Excellent organisational skills
Clear communicator with good writing, data entry and telephone skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Problem solving skills
Able to work on own initiative, organising and prioritising own workload to set deadlines
Understand of and commitment to equality of opportunity and good working relationships
An ability to maintain confidentiality and trust
Good time keeping
Flexible approach, willing to undertake a range of duties as required.
