You will be responsible for the autonomous clinical assessment and subsequent treatment and/or referral of patients across a wide spectrum of clinical conditions within the Urgent Treatment Centres provided by DHU Health Care. There may be a requirement to work in other areas across the Urgent Care services in times of peak demand.

You will need to meet the following essential criteria:

  • Registered with the NMC/HCPC/GPhC
  • First Level Nurse or other AHP professional with level 6 degree qualifications
  • Experience of working with PGDs, including understanding relevant legislation and NICE competency framework
  • Experience of working in Urgent or Emergency Care
  • Can show evidence of using autonomous physical examination and assessment skills in practice.
  • Qualified and experienced in the management of minor illness and X-ray interpretation OR desire to complete training.
