An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Team Manager to join our busy and well established Eating Disorders Service. You will act as a role model within the service to foster a culture of professional development and excellent standards of care maintaining strong standards of effective working.

We are looking for a Manager who has a real passion for working with children and young people and who can bring their skills, experience and enthusiasm to lead and manage others, meeting the needs of the Children and young people and their families. As part of the role you will be responsible for providing line management, delivering Case load management and allocation of clinical work. The successful candidate will also have protected clinical time as part of their job plan.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an experience of working within a CAMHS or a mental health setting. You must have a sound understanding of national drivers and a passion for supporting staff through change as we continue to navigate our way through the effects of the pandemic. About us

The Leeds Children & Young People’s Eating Disorder Team delivers outstanding treatment to the families and young people we work with. We are committed to going beyond expectations in engaging and supporting our families and Young People. We are a city-wide service and part of CAMHS. We have strong links to paediatric services across the locality. The service is dedicated to continuing to engage with all provider collaboratives and to ensure we have integrated pathways and joint working with all appropriate agencies to improve all outcomes for the children, young people and families who access our service.

We are a multidisciplinary team working with young people and families with a range of eating problems. The service provides specialist assessment and intervention for young people and their families up to the age of 18. We are from a range of backgrounds, including psychiatry, nursing, psychology, paediatrics, social work, dietetics and Occupational therapy.

We offer Family Based Treatment as a core treatment as well as CBT - E and individualised therapies. You will be trained and accredited in delivering Family Based Treatment for eating disorders and there will be further development opportunities within the team.

We work closely with our colleagues in CAMHS, schools and local medical services and are a forward thinking and proactive team. We are a friendly and established team and are looking for someone to join us who shares our core values and has a passion for the work they do.

We are a small and effective team and we are multi-disciplinary in nature. We have a strong inclusive culture and working relationships within our team and provide a good learning environment that supports development and teaching.
