Do you have the drive to join an experienced and highly motivated CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health) and AMHS (Adult Mental Health) Eating Disorder Service to deliver responsive and effective services?

We have two vacancies in our CAMHS Eating Disorder Services (CEDs) across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and a vacancy in our Adult Eating Disorder service in Herefordshire. We are really interested to hear from qualified Dietitians who want to talk to us about how they would like their role to be configured across the age range and/or locality, and feel they could engage with and develop these exciting roles

You will be part of the exciting CAMHS and AMHS multi-disciplinary teams inputting into clinical pathway developments, delivering high quality care and working alongside highly experienced colleagues to develop this new role.

You will be a motivated, experienced individual with a relevant qualification who can work in a team, enjoys autonomous working and who is passionate about the health and wellbeing of Children, Young People and Adults who experience Eating Disorders.

You will be a registered professional providing Dietetic advice, assessment and support to Children, Young People and/or Adults who have Eating Disorders, using a wide range of skills and methods. There may be opportunity for group work and there will be focus on prevention of ill health through promotion of healthy lifestyles. The will be opportunity to train and support professionals. You will have a proven ability to liaise with and work in collaboration with other relevant agencies according to the needs of the individual.

Our focus is to avoid if possible hospital admission therefore you will be central to ensuring that individuals have the necessary dietary requirements and monitoring as part of their care and treatment.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of clinical leads, psychologists, senior mental health practitioners and consultant psychiatrists. You will be delivering dietetic input for our young people and/or adults, helping to take part in comprehensive assessments and advising on risks and care planning for those with high risk of refeeding syndrome. You will be reviewing the meal plans devised meeting the care needs of individuals within the review meetings established within the team and in conjunction with families and individuals.

These roles will sit in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) based in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and there are hours available to work with Adults who have Eating Disorders within the WTE. Highly experienced MDTs (ED, CAMHS and AMHS) support decision making and clinical risk is shared.

No two days will be the same, so flexibility, problem solving skills and a desire to make a difference are all vital for this role. The working week will cover clinics, community visits and close liaison with our acute hospital colleagues. High quality clinical, managerial, professional and peer supervision and CPD is available in a variety of formats.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all mandatory training including PBM (subject to Occupational Health Clearance). Any training requirements should also be including in the Job Description/Person Specification.
