The role

You’ll play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team; managing patients with complex needs in the community. You’ll have the freedom to plan care in your own way, with time to develop your assessment and treatment skills, and access to great supervision and a clinical lead to make sure you’re on the right track.

Would you like to work flexibly?

With full and part-time roles available, we welcome flexible working arrangements, and do our best to offer a range of hours to ensure your work life balance is supported whilst delivering the best care to our patients when they need it most.

Benefits to you will include:

  • Hands on training to help you gain confidence in a community environment
  • Exposure to a vast array of career opportunities available within KCHFT
  • A mentor to support you and help guide you through any development
  • Annual leave of 27 days plus bank holidays
  • Being paid to train
  • NHS discount across many retailers

Successful applicants are required to have the qualification level specified in the person specification in order to carry out the job, however, we do welcome applicants from individuals wishing to further their knowledge and skills and to gain this recognised qualification, which we will support. So if you do not have the essential qualification for the role, this may not be an automatic barrier to you being offered an interview.

If you are successful at interview but do not have the essential qualification for the role, we will employ you as trainee and will support you to gain this qualification. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team, gaining valuable work experience and continuing to get paid. Once you receive the qualification you will automatically move into the position advertised
