Countywide posts: Base to be determined upon appointment within one of our Worcestershire bases (Kidderminster Health Centre, Scott Atkinson Centre in Redditch and The Beacon Centre in Worcester).

Community Paediatric Physiotherapists

Band 6

37.5 Hours per week

2 x Permanent & 1 x Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months

£32,306-£39,027 p.a.

We have an opportunity for three enthusiastic and motivated band 6 Children’s Physiotherapists to join our team from January 2022 to support our recovery and restoration plan.

The successful candidates would join our large and supportive Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team, working alongside specialist clinicians and support staff. There are lots of opportunities to contribute and participate in service development, student placements, regular in service development and clinical supervision. We work closely with our Occupational Therapy colleagues and our service is utilising a job planning approach assisting with demand and capacity.

Previous experience working with children and young people as a Physiotherapist is essential. Our service provides assessment and treatment of children with a wide variety of needs such as neuro-disability, early years development, Musculoskeletal and emerging diagnosis. Our provision is focused around evidence based practice and we operate in clinic, home, mainstream school and special school settings. Our approach is to empower, educate and support families and schools; this requires excellent communication, strong team working and proficient caseload management skills.

One of the posts will have a specific focus around Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
