This post is for a Consultant in Renal and Acute Medicine working between two dynamic trusts. This is a 10.5 PA post (10 PA post with 0.5 PA additional negotiable following appointment) offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated physician to join and lead an award winning, research driven, education oriented, dynamic and multi-professional team. 3 PA of the post is for activities provided for LUHFT, 2 PA of work for the Acute Medical Unit at STHK and 5.5 PA of work for Renal Medicine at STHK. The post holder will also contribute to the out of hours General Internal Medicine Physician of the Day (PoD) rota with a 3% on call supplement.
Applicants are required to hold Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK or equivalent qualifications), to be fully registered with the General Medical Council.
Applicants must have entry on the GMC Specialist Register (for both Nephrology and GIM) via one of the following:
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). (The proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview)
- Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR). (CESR candidates must have written GMC confirmation upon successful application).
