This post is open to Registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated practitioner to join a progressive and forward thinking Early Intervention for psychosis service that supports individuals and their families who are experiencing a First Episode Psychosis (FEP) and/or people assessed as having an At Risk Mental State (ARMS) in the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin area.

We are looking to recruit into a senior Early Intervention practitioner role. The candidate will have a real commitment to, and understanding of, the principles of Early Intervention and this service user group. The post is full time and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuing development of the Early Intervention in Psychosis service in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

There are a variety of differing professional disciplines within the team including Community Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, a Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Psychiatrist, CBT(p) Therapist, Family Intervention Lead, Support Time and Recovery Workers and administrative support which provides the opportunity to work collaboratively within a diversely skilled team.

The team is very focused on developing the skills of our staff members to enhance the service we deliver to this service user group.
