An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our progressive and forward thinking Pharmacy Department as the Education, Training & Patient Safety Pharmacist.
We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and forward thinking individual to lead and shape a new department within pharmacy here at the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust.
The new department will focus on the educational development of the multidisciplinary workforce as well as supporting the initial training of pharmacy technicians, undergraduate pharmacists and Foundation Year trainees.
The post holder will manage a team that will be responsible for overseeing the development of a medicines information service and the medicines optimisation governance infrastructure that links mental and physical healthcare ensuring the optimal and safe use of medicines.
The post holder will be highly visible and work collaboratively within the health economy footprint, alongside stakeholders, which include Universities, provider organisations, and regulatory bodies such as the GPhC.
This role will be extremely rewarding, and requires a motivated, dynamic individual who is experienced in working at operational/strategic level with a range of stakeholders and a track record for service development and delivering to agreed targets.
