An exciting opportunity has arisen for a finance systems administrator to join the Finance Department at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. This role will be Fixed Term until 31st Dec 2021. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to provide day to day administrative support to the finance directorate team to ensure smooth running and maintenance of the finance system.

As a Finance Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely upload of all General Ledger and Purchase Ledger Interface files. You will be lending your expertise in resolving simple and complex systems queries with ability to articulate such queries to software vendor to resolve them and also acts as a point of contact between the Finance and IT departments.

The post holder will carry out period end close for sub ledgers and general ledgers and ensure the Trust’s reporting requirements are met using Business Objects. You will be dealing with trouble shooting, user training, updating ledgers, report writing and sending out monthly budget statements.

The post holder will assist the Finance Systems Manager as required and help with the new finance system project tasks when required and continue to provide maintenance and support to current systems.

You will be based at the Britannia Business Park site in Essex, and will be actively studying for CCAB qualification or equivalent. Previous NHS experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
