The search has begun for a new Head of Clinical Quality within each Unit of Management across the Community Health Services Division in Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This senior leadership post has become available as part of a new exciting structure within the division – with the aim to build on a sense of shared identity and collective responsibility for the management of outcomes within each Unit of Management. This will ensure an open, participative, and inclusive modes of communication, collaborative leadership styles, and greater clinical input into management decision-making at all levels.

The role is envisaged to be the Governance Lead for the service as well as the Professional Lead within the unit of management, driving forward the professional agenda, including safer staffing, professional standards, developing systems and monitoring dashboards to drive improvement and contribute to the development of the strategic direction of clinical services.

Primarily the post will take overall responsibility and accountability for the standards of care delivered by workforce by providing professional leadership and guidance, inspiring the clinical workforce; building a cohesive, mutually supportive team across the unit of management; model high professional standards and lead by example, lead and promote a culture of learning, where learning is shared across the units and the wider Trust and successes are celebrated and create an environment where excellence in clinical care will flourish in relation to the key dimensions of health care quality.
