An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and senior leader (Registered Nurse/Midwife) to join our Quality Assurance & Outcomes team and contribute to the delivery of the Quality strategy leading a team in providing assurance to the CCG that commissioned services deliver high quality care and are safe for our population.
The Quality Assurance Team works with Providers across Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (ICS) and commissioners from across the country, to ensure that services delivered meet expected standards for quality and safety, providing guidance and support in relation to the quality performance monitoring of CCG commissioned services.
You will provide strategic direction and leadership for quality assurance and outcome focused services and be confident in determining whether appropriate care is being delivered having the ability to challenge current practice to ensure patient care is safe and effective.
You will have a proven track record of working collaboratively at a senior level with stakeholders both locally and regionally and possess excellent communication and networking skills and be confident speaking to people at all levels. Organisation and planning skills are a must for this role along with the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivating.
The postholder will provide effective leadership to the Quality Managers and Officers, acting as a role model and facilitating a working environment which incorporates good customer service, team working and continuous improvement
As a senior leader in the quality assurance & outcomes team the potholder will be responsible for supporting the quality culture of the organisation and leading and delivering the strategy, systems and processes contributing to the delivery of safe, well governed high quality care and services.
This post will report to the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance and work closely with quality managers across the CCG and wider stakeholders.
