HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT, BAND 2 WARD3 (STROKE) UP TO 28.5 HOURS PER WEEK

Ward 3A is a 15 bedded stroke unit and we are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate healthcare assistant to come and join our friendly team. The individual must be able to work well as part of a MDT with a pro- active and can do attitude being able to provide the best possible care for our patients. As you will be working with stroke patients good communication skills are essential.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding adults and children therefore if the post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended) the successful candidate(s) will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:

 

Standard Check: 26 + Administration cost of 4.20 = deducted at 10.20 from 1st month salary and 10 deducted from salary over following 2 months.

 

Enhanced Check: 44 + administration cost of 4.20 = 15.20 deducted from 1st month salary and 11 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
