Overview

Applicants are invited to join a team undertaking a range of tasks ensuring the accurate coding of patient pathways including appointments, diagnoses, treatments and operative procedures.
The post holder will be required to work strictly within the Government’s Access targets ensuring the accurate administration of patients pathway. Knowledge of patient record systems/data bases with proven experience over 2 years plus previous admin/clerical experience – 2 years or more
Ideally you will have a knowledge of the 18 week Referral to Treatment pathway
Well-developed Interpersonal skills – able to converse in a positive manner at all levels. Be dependable with a flexible attitude to work and able to work on your own initiative.
Duties will include, managing the collection and input of vital data onto a computerised system and keeping all patient information accurate and up-to-date.
You must possess strong organisational skills, be able to deliver objectives within an agreed timeframe, excellent people and communication skills to maintain effective communication links, and have a flexible approach to the evolving needs of the service. Applicants should ideally have experience of healthcare services.
It is essential that you possess excellent keyboard skills and expereince of administering data bases.
