An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on a newly established medical ward. The successful candidate will work within Ward 33 which is a 16-25 bedded medical ward.

The post is a rotational post, in which the post holder will be required to work day and night shifts as required.

The post holder will play a full role in the provision of care to patients within the ward area under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The successful candidates will be pivotal team members providing basic nursing care, recording observations and working closely with other members of the healthcare team caring for acutely ill patients.

Experience as a Health care Assistant within a hospital environment is advantageous, but not essential.

The post holder should work effectively within a team environment, have good communication skills, initiative and demonstrate enthusiasm about the role.
