This is an exciting opportunity to join Performance and Informatics at UHCW, based within University Hospital.

The post holder will become a member of the Information Systems Development (ISD) Team, tasked with the development and maintenance of the Trust’s SQL Server Data Warehouse using hands-on T-SQL development skills along with SSIS, SSRS and MS Office Stack at an advanced level, providing technical support to the team of analysts on a daily basis.

They will develop and maintain Data Transformation processes using SSIS and reports using Visual Studio 2017 and SSRS Report Builder, working with Trust staff of all levels to define and build the Trust reporting requirements. They will use their technical knowledge and expertise to implement improvements to enhance and streamline existing processes and systems, promoting greater efficiency and effectiveness within the ISD team and the wider Performance and Informatics.

In mind of the current demands on Information teams across the NHS, we are looking for a proactive individual who can work both as a team and autonomously, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements within strict timescales, resolving issues whilst delivering accurate work. They should also have the ability to prioritise their own workloads, with good communication and interpersonal skills being essential.
