Job Description

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and driven Band 6 mental Health practitioner to work within the First Response Service for Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust.

The First Response Service is a brand new service which will provide 24/7, 365 days a year access to all aspects of mental health care, advice, support and treatment. This role will involve 3 specific areas of work including our first response telephone line, our section 136 assessment suite and our specialised assessment clinic.

Our assessment clinic provides the completion of holistic mental health assessments for service users who are experiencing all aspects of mental health difficulties. This encompasses liaising with GPs, service users, family/carers and the MDT in order to collaboratively complete individualised treatment plans for our service users.

Shortlisting is planned for: 2nd December 2021.

Interviews are planned for 8th December 2021.
