Thank you for taking interest in this exciting new opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapist with an interest in Mental health, community services and recovery.
Following the principles laid out in the Community Mental Health Framework for Adults and Older Adults (2019), the MINT has been developed to provide an innovative, person centred set of interventions focused on individual needs. The post holder will be required:
- To provide client-centred occupational therapy interventions to service users with varied and sometimes complex needs, within the MINT Team, alongside multi-disciplinary team members and the occupational therapy team
- To actively develop and implement a framework of care, which reflects a holistic approach to service user needs, and the seven pillars of clinical governance.
- To work under the supervision of a senior or clinical lead occupational therapist, to apply clinical skills in occupational therapy assessment, treatment planning, intervention and evaluation, which include individual and group orientated approaches.
To contribute to the evaluation and continued development of the occupational therapy service, as well as (after completing appropriate training) taking responsibility for the direct supervision of less clinically experienced qualified staff, support staff and occupational therapy students...
