Main duties of the job
Our Ophthalmology Service currently provides comprehensive care for cataracts, glaucoma, and medical retina conditions. Patients who require tertiary care are transferred to Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, wet ARMD reviews and intra-vitreal injection clinics are held locally under the auspices of Aintree University Hospital (as part of Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust) who provide remote consultant supervision for our Locum Associate Specialist who runs this clinic on Fridays at Nobles Hospital. As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with two consultants and another middle-grade doctor, all while being supported by a skilled and friendly team of nursing and technical staff.
