An opportunity has arisen within the Nottinghamshire Podiatry Service for a Clinical Lead Podiatrist Band 7 - High Risk and vascular. To work predominantly within the Nottingham City area.

Permanent hours are available, up to 37.5 hours per week.

  • The Podiatry service provides foot care assessment, diagnosis, advice and treatment to the population of Nottinghamshire and neighbouring areas.
  • To provide clinical leadership to a team of clinical staff, including the provision of regular clinical supervision during team meetings.
  • To provide deputy management of the team in the absence of the team lead, related to team sickness, annual leave and operational management in the interim period.
  • To be a role model in a highly motivated community-based podiatry team, providing a high standard of clinical care.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues within and external to the podiatry team to develop and enhance services to meet the changing needs of the population and the national and local picture.
  • To provide clinical leadership and support for the clinical team.
  • To play a clinical leadership role in a community based podiatric clinics and domiciliary settings to provide treatment and advice, specialist assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic skills in the management of complex foot disorders under the guidance of the Team Lead and Service Head.
