Pay:

Day:£14.08 per hour

Saturday/Night:£18.30 per hour

Sunday/Bank Holiday:£22.53 per hour

The Trust also offer seasonal incentives and pay-rate uplifts on the above rates to encourage shift fill.

The role:

Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is one of only three dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK and provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services. We see children from 0-16 in most cases and in some cases up to 18.

We provide a full range of services for residents of Sheffield and South Yorkshire as well as specialised services for patients from across the United Kingdom.

Skills and responsibilities:

  • Have a minimum of 6 months paid experience at Band 5 level in a paediatric hospital environment within the last 2 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
  • Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
  • Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards.
  • Undertake regular mandatory training.
