There has never been a more exciting time to join us at gtd healthcare. gtd healthcare are seeking to improve the way people receive urgent primary care, advice and treatment and are looking to recruit senior clinical practitioners (SCP) to work within our Digital Hub and Pre Emergency Department (ED) streaming service based in the Oldham locality. The role is deemed a key asset in ensuring patients are seen as quickly and safely as possible, in the right place and at the right time. Our new and innovative Digital Hub is striving to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of the patients of Oldham and surrounding communities and you could be a key part in improving the patient journey for the population of Oldham. You will be provided an opportunity to work within a service that will contribute towards transforming how the local population accesses their healthcare. Furthermore, you will have a key role in the delivery of excellent clinical care and be a key member of the senior clinical team, identifying opportunities to innovate and work differently to meet the demands of the changing healthcare environment. This is an excellent prospect to work alongside a team who has a real commitment to continuous improvement, shared learning and best practice, while being passionate about providing patients with the highest possible quality care. As an SCP working within the Oldham locality you will have exposure to a multitude of streaming pathways, a broad Directory of Services (DoS) along with : • Direct access to a wide range of community-based services • Support from the wider clinical team including Advanced Clinical Practitioners to support you to refer to secondary care • Access to technology to support telephone and video consultations • Facilities to see patients face to face In addition, the pre ED streaming arm of the service includes working closely with The Royal Oldham Hospital to identify patients with primary care presentations who can be streamed away from ED To express your interest, you must meet the following criteria: • Clinical examination module • V300 non-medical prescribing qualification (if you are about to embark on NMP training or currently undertaking NMP training we would still like to hear from you) • Experience of primary care or urgent care • ED experience is an advantage but not necessary • A ‘can do’ attitude gtd healthcare is one of the largest primary and urgent care providers in North West England and has a long standing strong track record in providing innovative healthcare services when and where they are needed. gtd healthcare is a not-for-profit provider providing care to a patient population of approximately 2.7 million. gtd healthcare is a values driven organisation.
